I have always had a passion for animals and a desire to work with them in order to help make their lives better. Growing up I always had pets, usually a number at one time because my life was not complete without them and thankfully my mom supported my love. I began volunteering at an animal clinic during my summers to increase my knowledge and experience within the medical field, as I wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. This was only the beginning as I expanded my hands on experiences through working at Pet World in Lawrence, Kansas, a kennel techinican and veterinary assistant at local veterinary clinics, a few years as an animal care technician in the research field at the University of Kansas, and returning to the world of veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician at the Animal Clinic of North Topeka. My education in animal sciences at the University of Missouri, biology at the University of Kansas and business managment and marketing at Washburn University has greatly assisted in my abilities to pursue my goals. Through my years of working with animals I felt that there was a way in which I could better assist them and their owners, and have a greater impact. So I began reaching into the dog training field, as I felt in helping owners establish a better relationship with their dogs they would both live healthier, happier lives. This lead me to launch my own pet services business in 2009 offering a variety of services in order to better serve the community and their pets.
